COVID-19 Testing Strategies for U.S. Merchant Mariners: November 18, 2020

The CMTS  COVID-19 Working Group is hosting a webinar on Wednesday, November 18, 2:00-3:30 pm EST, with Rear Admiral Mark Buzby, Administrator, Maritime Administration, Mr. Mike Emerson, Director of Marine Transportation Systems USCG, Ms. Samantha Case, Epidemiologist at the CDC Center for Maritime Safety and Health Studies, and Dr. Kara Tardivel, Medical Officer CDC Division of Global Maritime and Quarantine.

The webinar will address workplace prevention and control strategies, availability and types of COVID-19 testing for US Merchant Mariners, CDC recommendations for the Merchant Marine, and preventative measures for ship operators and mariners.
