The Software Engineer designs, develops, and delivers mission critical innovative software solutions for use by business units throughout the organization.

Primary Objectives

Develop, test, and maintain business applications built on Microsoft and other technologies.
Collaborate with business unit management teams and project managers to deliver high-performance applications.
Design, build, test, and deploy software application solutions.
Develop and maintain application documentation.
Deliver on-time and on-budget solutions and adhere to high-quality development principles.
Duties and Responsibilities

Collect, review, and analyze user needs and application software requirements.
Develop, modify, and test new and existing application programming.
Design and lead user acceptance testing, reporting, and documentation.
Evaluate system constraints, cost estimates, and project timelines.
Create diagrams, flowcharts, models, and documentation for use by users, analysts, engineers, and programmers.
Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements.
Perform system updates.
Review and monitor error logs and support ticket system for internal and external systems and fix problems as required.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar degree or equivalent combination of coursework and experience in directly-related field
Preferred Licenses and Certifications

Microsoft certification (MCSD, MCSE) preferred
Required Work Experience

5+ years of professional software development experience
