The Manager, HRIS Services is responsible for managing and maintaining Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), coordinating service delivery, implementing new features and functionality, and developing operational reporting and analysis tools for use throughout the organization.
Primary Objectives
Manage and maintain systems and data management solutions to facilitate HR functionality, data and reporting requirements, and operational goals.
Plan, manage, and drive implementation and functionality deployment projects for HRIS systems and components.
Develop and maintain documentation, user materials, and end user training and support for core HRIS and related systems.
Manage, lead, and coordinate the HRIS team to meet data, reporting, project, and functional service delivery requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
Manage, maintain, and optimize HR information systems and data management solutions. Drive continuous improvement processes to optimize functionality and enhance data integrity and utility. Propose changes to system components and configurations to improve effectiveness and utilization quality.
Coordinate, prioritize, and monitor workflow, service delivery, and staffing to ensure resources are appropriately allocated between routine operations, projects, and urgent support response.
Plan, resource, and execute authorized projects using effective project planning and management techniques, including monitoring and coordination of resources, quality management, communication, documentation, and cost management processes, vendor relationship management, and rollout to users.
Provide timely, effective day-to-day user support for HRIS applications and data tools, including complex troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Consult with management teams, downstream data users, and end users to analyze requirements and identify solutions to address emerging needs, functional enhancements, and optimization of HRIS utilization.
Develop reporting, analysis, and process automation tools to support effective management of HR data, minimize user and data entry error, and support regulatory compliance and data quality.
Evaluate, update, and maintain system rules, settings, configuration, and data structure to ensure accurate and auditable transaction processing in compliance with company standards and controls, contract and regulatory requirements, and business specifications.
Manage and coordinate ongoing data validation and system testing to ensure that data is consistent with defined needs.
Manage vendor relationships to ensure service delivery, resolve system and user experience issues, and ensure optimal system use.
Preferred Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent combination of coursework and directly related experience required
Required Work Experience
5+ years of progressively responsible HR systems administrator experience
2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role
Experience planning and executing large-scale, complex HRIS implementation projects
Experience providing end user support and training for HR, Payroll, and business unit end-users
The applicable salary range is aligned to one of 5 zones according to a cost of labor index for the geographic location of the role. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include related experience, education and training, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is set forth below. Ranges may be modified in the future.
Zone 1: $125,000 – $150,000
This job is also eligible for participation in an Incentive Plan with a target payout based on eligible compensation and corporate/individual performance goal attainment.
Annual Incentive Opportunity: 10% of eligible compensation
Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
