Experience and enthusiasm for managing and implementing change.
A Master’s or Professional Degree from an accredited institution and five (5) or more years of
progressive experience, or a Doctoral Degree and three (3) or more years of progressive experience. An exception may be made for a Bachelor’s Degree plus seven (7) or more years of comparable experience; preferred to be in the public sector relevant to a higher education environment.
Two years of progressively responsible experience reasonably related to the administrative assignment.
Demonstrated experience in workforce development planning, implementation, and review.
Typical Education or Training
Master’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Five (5) years of management experience in workforce development.
Three (3) years management experience supervising others.
Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Administrative experience at a Dean’s level, or above.
Administrative experience in a community college setting.
Demonstrated success in writing and/or managing grants.
